Costa Rica - 8 days / 7 nights
DAY 1
Flight to San Jose – Costa Rica. Upon arrival at San Jose International Airport, the group will be met by the tour leader who will escort you to your hotel in San Jose.San Jose is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with all the conveniences of other modern cities. The sprawling capital is nestled in the fertile “Valle Central” (Central Valley) and surrounded on all sides by large forested mountain ranges, some of which include active volcanoes, perennially green savannahs and working coffee plantations.
Overnight in San Jose. Dinner is not included.
DAY 2
Departure for Irazu Volcano. The park that includes this volcano covers 2309 hectares, its highest point being 3432 meters above sea level. Transfer to Puerto Viejo de Limon to the hotel.Free time at the end of the day.
Dinner and overnight in Puerto Viejo.
DAY 3
A.M.: Visit of a Butterfly garden. This exotic butterfly farm is the second site of this type in the world.Afternoon will be spent at Manzanillo where there will be possibility to do some snorkelling and/or kayaking.

DAY 4
Expedition to Yorkin. The bus will drop you off at the end of the road. We will then walk towards this far away village close to Sixaola which forms a natural border with Panama.Today, the group will be taking part in some cultural workshops and community activities.
Dinner and overnight in the communal house in Yorkin.
DAY 5
Today, you will leave Yorkin. You will go down the Yorkin River into a dugout canoe.Dinner an overnight in Puerto Viejo.
DAY 6
A.M.: Visit of a commercial and an organic bananas plantations. You will discover the process from the
fabrication of the banana (Chiquita) until it’s exportation.Dinner at the plantation and then visit of an orchid greenhouse.
P.M.: The group will spend the afternoon visiting the town of Cahuita and its National Park known for its coral reef that goes around Punta Cahuita. The coral reef is seen as the most important of the country. The tropical humid forest is also magnificent.
Dinner at the Cha Cha Cha restaurant / Sobre las Olas. Overnight in Puerto Viejo.
DAY 7
After breakfast, transfer towards San Jose. Upon arrival, the group will enjoy the visit of a the coffee plantation Britt at 11:00. Hear expert coffee tasters share their knowledge of the art and science of gourmet coffee
appreciation. Of course we urge you to sample our full range of Costa Rican coffee's, and you also have the opportunity to purchase your favorite. Dinner at the Café Britt restaurant.After your visit, transfer to your hotel in San José. Free time for the rest of the day.
